Every successful restaurant depends on wonderful ingredients.
On Skye, our larder is truly inspirational with so much wonderful locla produce which includes croft grown Vatten chicken, hand dived Sconser Scallops, stalked Venison from the Edinbane estate, creel caught Sound of Raasay crab and Langoustines and Loch Eishort mussels.
Superb ingredients seasoned with Isle of Skye Sea Salt and flavoured with foraged herbs and wild edibles from our own woodland, as well as from Viewfield Garden Collective, a fantastic local community project which we are proud to support.
ABOUT EDINBANE LODGE
Edinbane Lodge is a casual fine dining restaurant with rooms set within an historic 16th century hunting lodge on the beautiful Isle of Skye.
Completely renovated and restored in 2018 the Lodge offers a lunch and dinner tasting menu which evolves with the seasons and is driven by our passion for the abundant natural produce of our island.
Awarded 3 AA Rosettes within months of opening the restaurant was named Best Newcomer Restaurant of the Year 2018 at the CIS Excellence Awards.
The Lodge has since garnered a host of local and national awards and is recognised in the Michelin and AA Guides where it holds a 3 rosette rating.
OUR VISION
At Edinbane Lodge we all share a passion for the wondrously diverse produce that is found in abundance all over the spectacular Isle of Skye.
We source our ingredients locally and responsibly, ensuring that our abundant larder and our unique culinary heritage is protected, preserved and enhanced for future generations.
We collaborate closely with our supply partners; a select but very dedicated group of artisans, growers, crofters and fishermen who share our values.
We choose only the finest and freshest seasonal ingredients and we prepare them with the utmost care to ensure they are showcased at their very best, when they arrive at your table.
Our process is grounded in our commitment to the produce and to the craft. Every dish we serve is imagined and created right here in the Lodge kitchen; much like it was for many generations at the Lodge when self-sufficiency and culinary invention were not choices but, an absolute necessity.

Edinbane Lodge has been a warm and welcoming haven on the Isle of Skye for more than 478 years. Initially known as Tigh a Linne, it is one of three change houses that offered food and hospitality on the ancient island road which leads to Dunvegan Castle. The other two properties having long closed, the Lodge is the last remaining symbol of a largely forgotten era when warm hospitality was an assured and highly regarded feature of island life. As proud custodians of that heritage we look forward to welcoming you into our island hideaway.

We have just four discreetly luxurious rooms which have been carefully restored and renovated to preserve the original charm and character of this enchanting old hunting lodge.
Tastefully upgraded with all the modern amenities of today, each room is individually decorated and furnished with rich woods, fabrics, textures and colours which reflect the hues and tones of the Skye landscape. Awarded 5 Gold stars by the AA, Edinbane Lodge is the ultimate place to escape, relax and savour the many delights which Skye has to offer.
